Just had to add...

I LOVE BONES. I really, really, do. That show just keeps getting better and better, and it almost killed me not to have an episode to watch last week.

A couple of quotes to prove how amazing it is:

Booth: "You see, Bones? The Gravedigger is not like God because God doesn't make mistakes."
Angela: "Mmm, I don't know...putting testicles on the outside didn't seem like such a great idea."
Booth: *nods reluctantly in agreement*

Booth: "We call you people 'squints,' because you're always squinting at things."
Brennan (Bones): "You mean people with high IQs and basic reasoning skills?"
Booth: "Yeah."

It's been a long time since there's been a show on TV that's so wonderfully smart and so entertaining at the same time, without all the sex and violence and profanity other shows use to make up for bad writing. In fact, it makes me feel smart just watching it. Plus I love watching sexual tension SO much more than watching the actual getting it on. There's no fun in it when characters get together easily. So that part (between Booth and Bones) is cool too.

So yeah. RANDOM. Like I said, off my meds. Watch Bones on Fox, Wednesdays at 8PM! Okbyenow.

Anyonther fave of mine is Booth's "Jesus was not a Zombie!" ^^
And I completely agree that its an amazing show! The latest ep just had me in pieces!

Lol, mine too! "Damn! I shouldn't have to tell you that!"

Same here...at first I was like, "Oh, not another buried alive story..." but it ended up being really great. Although I wouldn't have minded a little more Booth/Bones relationship development, but it's all good. :D

That entire vodoo/zombie ep had so many funny moments.

I know, I had almost hoped that we would get some development in the end, but I loved the episode nonetheless. And I also went into it thinking "yeah, getting buried alive is terrible, we get it", but it turned out to be so mucb more than that.

No kidding. Omg, those two are just the funniest pair ever. The great thing is that show is so entertaining, without them ever even coming close to hooking up. Good writing conquers all!

I loved all the little tricks Hodgins and Brennan had up their sleeves...and how freakin' calm she was the whole time. And how Booth actually took her to church with him in the end...("Shh! Do you see where we are?!") I guess that was a little tiny bit of development, lol.

Yay! I'm glad someone agrees with me. None of my friends watch it (losers), so it's very fun to be able to "share" with someone.

I know! When the show started I just thought "Oh great, another wanna-be-csi". But once I started watching I was completely charmed. It's so sweet and funny and SO CLEVER.

Also their faith in each other! most importantly his belief that of course they would find a way to get more air. I was really crying by the end of the ep, and the ending was beautiful, actual development or not ;)

oh no! two people on my flist watch it but they rarely post about it, so I'm enjoying this very much as well ^^

I know, seriously...what a great twist on your run-of-the-mill forensic show. It just goes to show that geniuses can be funny too!

That part is great...I love how Bones tries to explain it away in the car, and Hodgins doesn't buy it. So adorable. And how Bones is so out of it when it comes to pop culture ("I don't know what that means...") Too funny.

BTW, Angela and Hodgins - too cute as well. ("Can you stop being so weird?")

Exactly. I absolutely love the humor, its clever and snarky without trying to be something its not. And it really stands out from all the other forensic shows because its not about the cases, its about the people. Its always about the people. The first line of this show to make me cry was in (forgot the name of the ep) the one with the trial, Bones' "I see a face on every skull." That is one of the things that make this show so great.

Heee! I know, I love Bones cluelessness about pop culture. And while its wildy funny, its very realistic as well, the smartest and most educated people I know almost never know about things like that.

THEY ARE OMG! so adorable!

I really wish there was a good online source with quotes...I suppose I'll have to start taking down my own, because there are so many good ones. Very excited for the Season 1 DVD, which I believe is coming out Tuesday? Should be awesome.

I know...I love how it makes these really profound points about humanity and life in general, but it's still so light-hearted and witty. The realness of all the characters also makes them so easy to love.

I very rarely cry when it comes to TV or Movies, but I was tearing up in that last scene in the last episode where Hodgins was kind of falling apart and Angela invited him over and said something like, "And when you open your eyes, I'll be there." They managed to do it without any sappiness, and I loved it.

I know, those that I just named were just the ones that I remembered, but there really should be a good quote site. There are some here at imdb, but there are a lot of cool ones missing. I actually think the DVDs came out today in the US, didn't they?

Exactly, they write things that should be sappy but aren't Like the christmas episode last season! It would have been so easy to slip into cheesyness there, but they didn't!

Got my DVDs and have been jotting down quotes and taking screenshots ever since, so maybe I'll have to start up a decent quote site, lol. I swear, every other thing they say is hilarious.

I got my sister watching it finally, and after she finished each DVD, she just would stare at me and chant, "Need more. Need more. NEED MORE!" until I gave her the next one. Lol. I would just roll my eyes and say, "TOLD YOU."

I KNOW, I'm such a FAILURE. Christmastime pretty much sucks for my LJ life. Between cooking and art projects for the kids and going out of town, it's just a horrible whirlwind of LJ nothingness. Sorry about that...comeback impending! We hope, at least. Don't dump me just yet. :D
